katusu konde Mountain

One of the most popular tourists attraction these days is the katusu konde Mountain in the Kandy district. Although many people climb this katusu konde mountian separatly, it is actually mountain peak located at one end of the Hanthana Range, which consists of seven mountains.  Due to the unique shape of the lazard's spine and the difficulty of navigating it ,many young people prefer to go here for an adventurous experience .But of course the katusukonde ( Lizard's backbone) is very dangerous, so if you have going here, you have to be very careful about your safety. The route we use to get here was to take a "Kandy- Mahakanda" bus to Mahakanda and then go about 3,4 km and you'll find a small village , go through that village and from there step up the small footpath. But if you plan to use a motorbike to get here, you can still cycle to the village at the foot of the hill, even though the road is a bit dilapidated. So we remaind you to experience this adventure w...

kabaragala mountain

Image
Kabaragala is the highest mountain in the Dolosbage Range. Although it is about 1506m high, the view from the top is breathtaking. About an hour after starting the hike we were able to climb the first peak. Due to the different location we decided to go camping there without going any further. Somehow by the time the sun went down in the evening there was an unspeakably beautiful view.💆🏻‍♂️ The most beautiful part of the trip is when it gets a little late. Sitting by a fireplace in the freezing cold and being with friends under a starry sky is definitely an unforgettable experience.🥺✨ The sun rises in the morning as it does in the night. At sunset in the morning the top of Kabaragala looked very beautiful with a different view. Anyway, after a little light, we took our breakfast and headed to our destination. That is the second peak of Kabaragala. It took me about two hours to get to the top, but when I got to the top I didn't feel the slightest bit sad about it. When you re...

The Nelligala International Buddhist Center is as famous as the Temple of the Tooth. The Nelligala Sacred Area was created in 2014 by conserving a scrub forest.  It is worth mentioning here that the forest has been conserved.  This Buddhist heritage is situated in a beautiful environment where the sweet sound of the jungle spreads all around.  Hanthana, Hunnasgiri, Andagala, Alagalla, Batalegala, Ambuluwawa, Atigala, Ramasara Kanda, Sri Pada and Pidurutalagala can all be viewed from a 360 degree view from the top of Nelligala at an elevation of 700 m above sea level.  It took six years of dedication to build this sacred place in the middle of the blue mountain range.  The statues and designs here are golden in color and the bodhi tree in a large bowl of gold is special.  The seventy feet high bubble-shaped pagoda stands out among other creations of gold on a blue background.  Another surprise was that the stupa was completed in three months....
